The Tissue Culture Rack is a robust and efficient laboratory setup designed for plant tissue culture, micropropagation, and in-vitro culture applications. It is widely used in agricultural research laboratories, biotechnology labs, universities, seed companies, and plant research centers where controlled lighting and organized culture storage are essential. The rack is constructed using a mild steel slotted angle frame, duly powder coated to ensure durability, corrosion resistance, and long service life. The distance between shelves ranges from 16” to 18”, allowing adequate space for culture bottles, jars, and flasks. Shelves are available in multiple sizes—48” × 18”, 48” × 24”, or 72” × 18”—depending on the selected model. Each culture shelf is fitted with four 36/40 Watt flicker-free fluorescent lamps with electronic ballasts, ensuring uniform illumination with minimal heat generation. This design supports optimal plant growth while maintaining energy efficiency. The rack also includes UV germicidal tubes for contamination control and incandescent lamps for supplementary lighting, depending on the model. For operational convenience and safety, each shelf has an individual switching arrangement, and a separate control panel is provided for each rack. The Tissue Culture Rack is engineered to deliver reliable performance, low maintenance, and consistent lighting conditions required for successful tissue culture operations.
