The Plain Bed General is designed for use in hospital wards, nursing homes, and general patient care areas. It provides a simple and stable resting platform suitable for routine inpatient use. The bed is constructed using rectangular mild steel tubing to support durability and structural strength for regular hospital environments. The sleeping surface is made from perforated CRC sheet, which supports airflow and facilitates routine cleaning and maintenance. Mild steel tubular head and foot panels of unequal height are provided to support basic patient positioning and bed identification. The bed includes provision for an IV rod with multiple mounting locations to support standard patient care requirements.
