Description
The LI-RP-900I Research Polarimeter is a high-precision optical instrument designed for analyzing the optical rotation of optically active substances in medical, pharmaceutical, and chemical research laboratories. It consists of an imparted half-shade Nicol polarizer analyzer, a 100 mm diameter circular scale divided into 0° to 360° × 1°, and a sugar scale from –30° to +130° × 1° for accurate measurement. The instrument incorporates a divided micrometer drum capable of reading up to 0.053 minutes and 0.1 scale accuracy, ensuring precise and repeatable readings. The system is illuminated for clear visibility, with a sturdy, stable body and a polarimeter tube featuring bubble traps positioned at the center (200 mm). It comes equipped with a sodium lamp with stand and transformer for consistent illumination. Available in 220 mm and 400 mm tube variants, this model supports research applications requiring high analytical precision and durability.
