Description
The Inverted Metallurgical Microscope is a high-precision laboratory instrument designed for advanced cell study, materials research, and metallurgical analysis. Inverted microscopes are especially valuable for observing living cells, cultures, and large or heavy specimens, as the objective lenses are positioned below the stage, allowing easy sample handling and long-term observation.
This microscope features a colour and spherical aberration–corrected optical system, delivering sharp, high-contrast images across the entire field of view. It supports brightfield and fluorescence observation, making it suitable for life science research, metallurgical inspection, and quality control applications.
Equipped with Köhler illumination (50W halogen or LED), the system ensures uniform, glare-free lighting with excellent brightness control. The ergonomic Siedentopf binocular or trinocular viewing head, inclined at 45° and rotatable 360°, provides superior comfort during extended observation sessions. Interpupillary distance is adjustable from 48–75 mm, with diopter adjustment for precise user-specific focusing.
The microscope includes a reversed quadruple or quintuple nosepiece fitted with LWD infinity plan or semi-apochromatic objectives, enabling flexible magnification and excellent working distance. A high-point wide-field 10X eyepiece with 22/25 mm field of view enhances viewing comfort and situational awareness.
A fixed stage with three-point support and an optional double-layer mechanical stage with smooth X–Y coaxial controls allow precise specimen movement. The high-sensitivity focusing system, featuring tension control and an upper limit stopper, delivers accurate focus adjustment with 0.01 mm per revolution precision. With a wide magnification range of 50X to 1000X, this microscope is suitable for a broad range of scientific and industrial applications.
