The Ice Lined Refrigerator – STD Model (SILR Series) is a robust and economical cold-chain equipment designed to store vaccines, blood components, and medical reagents under a controlled environment of +2 °C to +8 °C. These refrigerators are engineered with a stainless steel 304 inner chamber that ensures hygiene, corrosion resistance, and easy cleaning, while the outer body is constructed from mild steel sheet with durable powder coating, making the unit cost-effective yet sturdy.The triple-walled construction provides superior insulation, with the second wall chemically treated and coiled to maintain the internal temperature even during power interruptions. High-density PUF insulation minimizes thermal loss, while a blower system ensures uniform airflow inside the chamber, maintaining a precise temperature uniformity of ±0.2 °C. The system has a holdover time of 36 hours, meaning vaccines and biological materials remain preserved for long durations without risk, even if external conditions fluctuate.Each unit is controlled by a microcontroller-based LCD display that provides real-time monitoring of internal conditions. The controller is equipped with an audio-visual alarm system that immediately alerts operators in case of temperature deviations. To support critical storage during power failures, the STD models also feature a battery backup for the display (36 hours), ensuring continuous visibility of temperature conditions. A built-in LED chamber lamp illuminates the storage area for easy access and monitoring.The STD versions of the SILR series are particularly suited for hospitals, primary health centers, diagnostic laboratories, blood banks, and vaccination depots, where compliance with strict GMP standards is not mandatory but reliability and affordability are essential.
