The LEW-144 Grossing Work Station is a premium-grade pathology workstation engineered to provide a safe, clean, and efficient environment for gross examination procedures. Designed specifically for histopathology laboratories, medical colleges, diagnostic centers, and research institutions, this workstation ensures complete protection for technicians from harmful formalin and chemical fumes while maintaining superior hygiene and workflow efficiency.
Constructed entirely from SS-304 stainless steel, the unit offers excellent corrosion resistance, durability, and ease of cleaning for long-term laboratory use. An inbuilt backdraft ventilation and external exhaust system effectively removes formalin fumes directly from the worktop and technician’s breathing zone, ensuring maximum user safety. Transparent air deflection panels enhance airflow control without obstructing visibility.
The workstation is equipped with a removable perforated worktop that allows efficient perimeter rinsing and easy deep cleaning. An integrated sprinkler system with adjustable bibcock, located beneath the perforated plates, provides effective sanitation of the working area. Additional features include a sink with hot/cold faucet mixer, hand rinsing assembly, and a hand shower with flexible pipe for remote and thorough cleaning.
For enhanced functionality, the LEW-144 includes powerful LED lighting, a dissecting and chopping board, magnetic tool holder, cleanable pre-filter for fine particle removal, paper towel/tissue dispenser, and additional SS-304 storage shelves for containers and instruments. With an ergonomic worktable height of 800 mm, the workstation supports prolonged working hours with reduced fatigue, delivering a cleaner, safer, and more productive grossing environment.
