The LEW-146 Bio Medical Waste Shredder is a robust and safety-compliant waste management solution designed for the effective shredding of biomedical waste in hospitals, clinics, laboratories, research centers, and healthcare facilities. Engineered with a strong focus on operator safety, noise reduction, and operational reliability, this shredder ensures safe handling and disposal of infectious and hazardous medical waste.
The unit is equipped with interlocking safety mechanisms using limit switches, ensuring the shredder operates only under safe conditions. It is shockproof and fully insulated as per prescribed safety norms. A reverse motion feature is incorporated to prevent overloading and resolve jamming issues, thereby extending machine life and ensuring uninterrupted operation. Special design provisions prevent scattering of shredded waste, maintaining a clean and controlled environment.
For enhanced user protection, the shredder includes both mechanical and electrical safety systems, along with anti-vibration mountings that ensure smooth, stable operation. The machine operates at low noise levels below 60 dB, producing virtually no vibration, making it suitable for indoor healthcare environments. Comprehensive electrical protections are provided, including motor overload protection, resettable over-current breaker, RCB, MCB, dipole switch, and fuse.
