Description
The LEW-149 Air Shower is a high-efficiency cleanroom entry system designed to remove surface contaminants from personnel and materials before entry into controlled environments. It is widely used in clean rooms, pharmaceutical plants, laboratories, electronics manufacturing units, hospitals, biotech facilities, and food processing areas where strict contamination control is essential.
The system operates by forcing high-velocity, HEPA-filtered air (20–22 m/s) through strategically positioned jet nozzles, effectively dislodging dust and particulate matter from clothing and exposed surfaces. Contaminated air is continuously drawn from the lower section of the chamber, passed through a pre-filter, and recirculated back into the system—ensuring continuous internal filtration without any exchange with external air.
The LEW-149 is equipped with a HEPA main filter offering >99.99% efficiency at 0.3 micron, along with a pre-filter (20% efficiency) to extend HEPA filter life. The unit features an advanced microprocessor-based control system and a high-efficiency, statically and dynamically balanced motor blower assembly, ensuring reliable, vibration-free operation. Available in powder-coated CRC sheet or SS-304 stainless steel construction, the air shower combines durability with hygienic design. Glare-free fluorescent illumination ensures clear visibility inside the chamber, enhancing safety and user comfort.
