A Scan Biometer by Matronix is a manual operation ophthalmic ultrasound biometry instrument designed for precise ocular measurement in ophthalmology departments, eye care hospitals, and cataract surgery centers. The instrument supports measurement of anterior chamber depth, lens thickness, vitreous length, and axial length parameters, providing the comprehensive ocular biometry data set required for intraocular lens power calculation prior to cataract surgery and other ophthalmic surgical planning procedures. Compatible with a wide input voltage range of AC 100 to 240V at 50 to 60 Hz, the instrument is suitable for deployment across varied institutional electrical infrastructure conditions within India and international ophthalmic clinical settings.
The instrument incorporates six IOL power calculation formulas including Binkhorst, Haigis, Hoffer-Q, Holladay, SRK-II, and SRK-T, providing the examining ophthalmologist with a comprehensive selection of established intraocular lens calculation methodologies to accommodate different patient biometry profiles and surgical planning preferences. The measurement resolution of 0.01 mm supports precise and detailed ocular dimension data capture during biometry sessions, contributing to accurate IOL power determination for individual patients.
